Outcomes wasn’t the movie I thought it was. I thought it was a movie sort-of about #metoo and cancel culture and all that. It’s not about that at all. I mean, it has some jokes about that stuff. Some of them are even funny. That’s not the point, though. I think the real point is that people are are complicated.

If I had to sum up the movie it’s really about understanding who we want to be rather than who we want other people to believe we are. We should apologize to those we’ve hurt because it is the right thing to do, we should try to be a good person because it’s the right thing to do. We should give people grace, because sometimes they’re just broke. Sometimes they’re just hurting and don’t know what to do.


I’m also not saying it’s a great movie. It is not a great movie. But it’s pretty good. And Keanu Reeves is a good actor. Also, it reminded me of “A Serious Man” and we should have more movies like both of these movies. I wish I could have seen it in a theatre.
